West Bengal Police is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Sub-Inspector, Assistant sub-inspector & constable posts.

a) No of vacancies:-24 nos.

b) Age:- 45 years(max).

c) Salary:- Rs(32,100----82,900).

2. Name of the post:- Sub-Inspector(Crew Engine driver).

a)No of vacancies:-23 nos.

b) Age:- 45 years(max).

c) Salary:- Rs(23,000----69,800).

3. Name of the post:- Constable(Crew ).

a)No of vacancies:-92 nos.

b) Age:- 45 years(max).

c) Salary:- Rs(22,700----58,500).

d) Person to apply for this job:-  Retired employees from Indian Navy/Indian Coast Guard/BSF/ITB Police(water wing).

Process of Selection:-

Selection will be based on 2 phases-- Written exam(75 marks) & Personal Interview(25 marks). Total 1 hour will be provided to the candidates for written examination.

Application fees:-

Amount of fees are different for different posts.

For Post--1,it is Rs 325/-

For post---2, it is Rs 275/-

        &

For Post no---3, it is Rs 225/-.

  However for SC/ST- application fee is rs 25/-. Application fee has to be paid only online mode.

Important points:-

1.Payment of fees will be online mode using debit cards/credit cards/Net banking.

2. Exemption of fees for reserved category will not be available for other states.

3. Candidates should upload recent photograph ,signature in the jpg format.

4. No TA/DA will be provided to the candidates in attending written test/interview.

5. In written test, there will be negative marking & questions will be provided as MCQ pattern.

6. Selected candidates will have to appear in the medical examination at State Govt hospitals.
