IIMC(Delhi) had announced its notification for conducting test for admission in all P.G courses(2020--2021).

The exam is tentatively scheduled on 18th Oct'2020(Sunday). This Notification had been published on 15th Sept'2020.

Now, Person who is in the dark about perusing career in the field of Journalism, can go through to have a little idea regarding rewarding career of Journalism through IIMC.

Journalism & Mass communication field is already proved as recession proof. This industry is neither effected by even Pandemic.

Brief about IIMC:-

IIMC(Indian Institute Of Mass Communication) is an Autonomous society under Ministry of Information & broadcasting. It was started in 1965 & was inaugurated by the then Prime Minister- Smt. Indira Gandhi.

Started as a small Institute with two staff, gradually it had expanded with several branches in the country.

Its regional centers are in Kerala, Maharastra, Odisa, J & K, Mizoram.

Tuition fees are little bit high in-spite of being a Non profit Center. Students sometimes access loan facilityto continue their study . Tuition Fees are as follows--

Brief of Entrance Exam.

The Pen & paper based entrance exam is being scheduled for total 120 minutes for 430 number of seats.

Question will be based on Social history, GK,Govt new policy/Schemes. Total marks for entrance exam is 75 & there is no negative marking. 15 marks are being allotted for attending & clearing interview.

Candidates have to face descriptive type of questions in the entrance exam of IIMC & pattern varies as per the course selected by the candidates for exam.

Placement:-

More than 50 companies related to Media & publishing industries visit campus for placement & provide package on an average- Rs 3 Lakhs per annum(Starting as a trainee).

prominent media houses like- HT, TOI, ET, TILL, Business Standard etc use to visit campus every year. Candidates should have good command over English.
