PH Category :- HH-Hard of Hearing.

Pay Scale:- 

 Level – 8 (Rs. 47600-151100/-) in Pay Matrix as per CCS (R.P.) Rules, 2016. (Total emoluments excluding T.A. & HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs. 47,600/- plus DA as applicable per month).

Age:-

1.Not exceeding 30 years for General category candidates as on normal closing date. 

2.Not exceeding 33 years for Other Backward Classes candidates.

3. 35 years for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates.

4. 30 years for Economically Weaker Section candidates as on normal closing date for vacancies reserved for them.

 Relaxable for regularly appointed Central Government Servant upto five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Qualificaiton:- 

A. Educational-
Master’s Degree from a recognized University in Physics / Applied Physics / Chemistry / Polymer Chemistry / Electronics.

OR

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from recognized University or Institute in Electronics/ Telecommunication/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/Metallurgical/Mechanical/Aeronautical/
Chemical.
Note Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the UPSC for reasons to be recorded in writing, in the case of the candidates otherwise well qualified.

B. Experience-

Two years experience in production, development or Quality Assurance in the field of Armaments/ Electronics/ Aeronautical/ Under-water applications from organisations in Central/ State Government/ Union Territory administration or autonomous or statutory organisation/Public Sector Undertakings/ University/Recognised Research Institution or private organisation listed in the Stock Exchanges of India.


Note:-

 The qualifications regarding experience is relaxable at the discretion of the UPSC, for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, if at any stage of selection the UPSC is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the posts reserved for them.

Duty:-

(1) Preparation and analyzing of test reports of Lab samples.
(2) Calibration and maintenance of the equipment.
(3) Carries out the analysis/tests for certain critical samples/jobs as per the requirement.
(4) Monitors and guides the Scientific Staff in carrying out analysis/tests and maintain log books and reports.
